Get to know Shah: MILA client and artist

What could be more devastating than being forced to flee your home country and your entire family with only a couple weeks' notice? Now imagine having to also leave behind your entire body of artwork + physical gallery space.

Shah will be the first to tell you, this disruptive change was FAR from easy. Yet, despite his challenging circumstances, he's chosen to pursue a new start to his life in Spokane with hope and vigor - including establishing his own home studio gallery and creating art as much and as often as possible.

We're so honored to support Shah as a
MILA client and to have the opportunity to share a bit of his story with you. Thank you, Shah, for telling your story and for the vulnerable, beautiful artwork you continue to create and share with us all.
