Manzanita House is addressing the dire shortage of immigration services and support, working tirelessly to provide accessible legal assistance for individuals and families.
MILA provides family-based and humanitarian immigration assistance primarily to individuals who are low-income. We target our outreach and services to Spokane County but also served clients as far as Western Washington, Idaho, and Montana. We provide advocacy and representation in front of USCIS, Immigration Court, and the Department of State for a high volume of cases - focusing on contributing to our clients’ flourishing. MILA provides services and education, working to create a system where each person can reach their goals. We welcome immigrants regardless of country of origin, skin color, sexual orientation or gender identity, or religion.

We provide language support for clients.
We provide some services pro bono (free of charge), including naturalization and some removal defense. Other services are fee-based and offered on a sliding fee scale.
